Cheesy chicken tray bake with leek and bacon
The ultimate comfort food recipe is this creamy chicken bake with a rich leek and bacon sauce and a cheesy golden crust.
Ingredients
Black Swan Warming Leek & Bacon Dip, 2 x 180g tubs
150 grams of diced streaky bacon
4 chicken breast fillets, weighing roughly 200 grams each
coarsely shredded mozzarella, 3/4 cup (75g)
2 finely sliced spring onions
Coles Australian 4 Leaf Salad, 120g in a packet
Method
Step 1
Preheat kitchen appliance to 180°C. Grease associate 8-cup (2L) ovenproof dish. unfold [*fr1] the dip over base of the ready dish.
Step 2
Heat an oversized non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add the bacon and cook, stirring, for two minutes or till bronzed. Transfer to a plate lined with towel. Sprinkle [*fr1] the bacon over the dip within the ready dish.
Step 3
Add chicken to the pan. Cook for two minutes either side or till bronzed. Season. prepare over bacon mixture within the dish. unfold with remaining dip and sprinkle with the cheese . Bake for twenty five minutes or till cheese is golden brown and chicken is soft-bo through. put aside for five minutes to rest.
Step 4
Sprinkle chicken mixture with the onion and remaining bacon. Serve with the dish leaves.
