 Golden Sweet Cornbread



Ingredients

all-purpose flour, 1 cup
yellow cornmeal, 1 cup
White sugar, 2/3 cup
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt.
1 egg
a cup of milk
vegetable oil, 1/3 cup

Directions

Step 1
Set oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C). A 9-inch round cake pan should be sprayed or gently greased.

Step 2 Combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a big bowl. Add the egg, milk, and vegetable oil and mix thoroughly. Fill the pan with the batter.

Step 3
A toothpick put into the center of the loaf should come out clean after 20 to 25 minutes of baking in a preheated oven.
